This may be a very, very stupid question...

    Is there any way to wire two 16 ohm speakers down to 4 ohms? Yup, that's the question.:Spank

    Wire them in parallel with an 8 Ohm load box.

    Not really. How about this though, check here (let us know what equipment you are using) to see if, which is most likely, you can wire in parllel to 8 ohms, and even if the amp is 4 ohm out, maybe (again, check here with specifics about the amp) 8 ohms will be safe to use!

    It's a Bassman, so yes, it's a 4 ohm out.
