There's a lot of different colors because everyone has different opinions on what is desirable. How can you state, “those colors are much more desirable” and then append, “IMO”? I much prefer black and Olympic White to both of the colors you mention, but that doesn't mean everyone does. Just be glad they're switching things up a bit!

Well that certainly supports what I remember. And why a little amber tinting looks better to me.

I don't get it. Why call it almond green when it looks like green pistachios. I know almonds have green husks on the tree, but still?

Never owned or cared for most green colored guitars...with the exception of sea foam green, which is the color of one of my Teles.
I also don't like the real pale blond maple necks...always preferred something a bit darker or with some amber tones.

    I like it.
Yep, very similar shade. I have a Sage Green Metallic partscaster in the works. Actually it's languishing incomplete, waiting for me to get around to it.

Here's my recommendation for your guitar strap with that one:

I appended IMO, because it seems here that a lot of people complain that those two colors aren't available except in the very low, and custom shop end of the spectrum. My opinion is based on past threads here with a lot of people voicing that very complaint about those two colors. So perhaps the correct response to append is, in many guitarists opinion? Why make some new color when there is an untapped void of several classic colors that sell enough on the entry level and custom shop level as evidence they are desirable?

Nice, but if the pickups are noiseless... not that keen on them.

As someone said above a roasted maple neck would look very nice with that color. Heck, a roasted maple neck looks great with most colors.

The color was per Eric's request as he likes to have his guitars done in auto colors (Torino Red, Mercedes Blue, etc.). In this case it's based upon an Aston Martin color, Almond Green.

That looks cool, but that's not the color I was expecting given the name "Almond Green"......I mean, these are green almonds:
