I've been following the construction of Mike's guitar over on the Thorn forum, and I knew it would be cool, but count me among the growing masses that were completely blown away by the total package.

    :drool

One of the greatest guitars I've ever seen, and the pickup and wiring configuration will just flat out do all sorts of great stuff.

Instant classic, destined only to get better with age.

Hats off to both Mike and Ron for their vision and execution on it. I'm jealous.

A week in, and I'm still just scratching the surface, but wow. The tones on tap are ridicluous, the feel, like a broken in old friend.

    New first wife methinks. :D

I'm not normally a fan of PRSish lookin' guitars, but I gotta say that guitfiddle is absolutely STUNNING!

Love the top, love the finish, love the sun inlays, love the specs....amazing guitar, Mike.

    Congrats!

I don't have any numbers to back this up, but I declare this a record necro bump!

Call me crazy, but I feel you have bonded with this guitar - we should all be so lucky!

It is bitter sweet that we won't have these types of Thorn NGD threads anymore. I am always happy to see threads where people still play and enjoy these guitars years later. Keep playing the snot out of it! :)

If I had found these 12 years ago, I’d have a lot more Thorns.
