Looking to pick up a ROMpler for my practice space that covers the basic bread and butter sounds. There's a Juno-D LE on the local CL for $350 - anyone had experience with these? I'd be using it mostly for the internal sounds, but will also play around with using it as a MIDI controller for my iPad. Not looking for a lot of programming/arranging - this will be for live performance purposes.

Seems to get decent reviews for a basic keyboard, but I've had enough experience with Roland to know that things can get painful quick if you want to do anything but use the presets and the 5-pin MIDI jacks.

Any thoughts? Positive reviews? Warnings? I'm willing to go with something newer/pricier if this thing is a complete dog. E.g., I know I just dogged on Roland, but the VR-09 looks like a nice live solution.
