    Hey Folks,

I've sold my trusty Pod X3, which was my go to for playing at home. Looking at replacing it with one of these amps

    Yamaha THR10 (or 10C)
    Blackstar ID15TVP
    Fender Mustang 2

I mainly play clean so need a decent clean channel - good high gain would just be icing on the cake. Must also take pedals VERY VERY well. And it's main use will be recording direct so needs to nail that as well.

I can hit the music stores and test them, but am very time challenged, so if I could at least get an idea of a front runner to begin with it be cool.

    Any thoughts?

I play SG's and LP's, 80% clean and 20% brutality, normally through Fender combos

i own all 3. the fender has very decent cleans, not so much in the higains.
the id15 useable cleans and decent higains
the thr10, mine is not in the same league as the other 2. unless its sitting on a towel it has almost no bass and sounds very thin and tinny.

i much prefer the vip 1 peavey to any of the above. very decent cleans, midgains and great higain

others will have their favorites also
