In the last week I sold two guitars on TGP Emporium, and also bought one because someone responded to my WTB post there. These have been the most hassle free buying/selling experiences ever! No emails from people asking if I can ship to Malaysia (no offense to any Malaysians present), and best of all no exorbitant eBay fees!

I've also had one good trade experience for which I haven't been on TGP for all that long. Just use your common sense and watch out for newbies like me :) to be sure they aren't looking to get your gear or your $$$.

Personally it's Paypal or bust for me.

I've sold an amp, a guitar and a pedal within the past week. So much better than eBay!

Best source on the internet if you ask me. The knowledgeable players here have helped me try out so much gear that I never would have had a chance to otherwise it's incredible.

Agreed. The Emporium rules. Easy to buy, easy to sell, and a good sense of respect and community... something you wont get dealing with a stranger on ebay.

MAKE SURE YOU DONATE TO THESE GUYS cuz they're awesome!!! I did. :AOK

Agreed. I've been on TGP since the early days and have never had a bad experience buying/selling here. That doesn't mean don't be careful but, it's a good place. Especially with all these gear hounds who go through stuff a mile a minute.

Yeah, don't forget to contribute. Brian, Scott and co. do a great job for us.

I, too, have had quite a number of great, honest transactions here. However, how big is this community? How often can we sell/trade the same items to fellow forumites? It's almost akin to in-breeding! :D

This is the only place I would buy a guitar without seeing it in person first. I know most if not all of my fellow forumites are as picky about their geer as I am.

I've bought and sold stuff here. I see great deals all the time, and if I could buy all the stuff that I like, I'd have to leave the house.

    Anybody get the reference?

I LOVE this site! An amazing resource we shouldn't take for granted.

Agreed! Althought TGP'ers always convince me to spend that little extra to get something a little bit better than what I was originally researching... but it's worth it for sure.
    So, what did ya get?
