ThroBak SLE-101 Plus P.A.F. Repro Demo

Here is a demo done by the great Allen Hinds of the ThroBak SLE-101 Plus MXV pickups. Unique among P.A.F. reproduction pickups this set has the slug coils wound on the old Gibson P.A.F. winder now owned by ThroBak. The screw coil is wound on our vintage Leesona 102 coil winder. This set also has USA made unoriented A5 magnets which give great mids while retaining low end clarity. Great clean and distorted tones from these pickups. Like all ThroBak pickups these are 100% USA made and all the parts are made with ThroBak tooling and molds crafted to vintage specs..

Love the twangy/pianoy response of the bass strings...almost impossible to find in humbuckers...

That demo guy could make old rubber bands sound good...how about a demo from a mere mortal hack
