Just put ThroBak round core nickel on my Grosh Electrajet and their round core phosphor bronze on my Santa Cruz OM-18 and my Gibson L-48. Very nice. Rich tone and very nice feel. I like them a lot! FYI.

    Bring back this oldie!
Just ordered up their pure nickel roundcore and also trying a set of the acoustics.
Figured give these a try before trying the scalar.
    Anyone using them?

    Better than current production Scalar.
I wish SNake Oils were still around

I liked the Scalars better than the Throbak's, but I've moved on to Stringjoy's. They aren't pure nickel, but they feel and sound "played in" when you put them on and last a long time. I might go back to the Throbak's or Scalars for my Tele, but not for my humbucker guitars.
