Just wondering what some of the good ones are out there. I saw this band the dough rollers open for queens of the stone age and they were really good. It got me thinking besides the black keys, what are some of the other good revival bands? Ones that bring back the old sounds from way back. :munch

Preistess has a great oldschool sound going on.
Sort of like Uriah Heep'sh at times as well as other 70's feeling elements.

Those two Tubes were killer. I so felt like I was back in Oniel Canyon partying and smoking pot in 1972. That was some weird fun we had back then.

the Detroit Cobras are pretty cool! Lots of obscure garage-rock covers.

    Goldsboro, kind of Thin Lizzy-ish.

I used to own that same Mustang. Brown, non-fastback, with black vinyl roof. Sold it because it was falling apart and I needed something to haul band equipment anyway.

so far, buffalo killers, black mountain, radio moscow, and jonathan tyler are the only ones kind of doing it for me. I'm amazed there aren't more bands that sound like they were pulled from the 50s and 60s. When i hear those band, well the ones who do it well. Im blown away!
