Well, he's gotta get back on the greens soon -- I guess too much time on his hands right now.

On a more straight note. I feel for the woman who was killed by a tiger at PBZ today.

I've been there and seen that tiger, nice zoo too.

Best wishes and regards to the family and friends.

I know a guy who worked in zoos down in Oz.
He said one day it became clear to him that you just never know what those animals are going to do.
He had a coworker who took care of the tigers & they seemed to just love him, until one day one of them ate him.

He also said it's the only job he ever walked away from w/o finishing his shift.

I take it that he never washed dishes in a restaurant, right? I did for two hours when I was about 17 and in college, thought about it, took my first break and left...I never did ask for my $3.30 ($1.65/hr back then) either.

The French teacher at my junior high kept a leopard and a panther. They ate him. Don't get within striking distance of big cats, no matter how well you know them. They will take you out if they get a chance.

I'm sure he has actually, because he was running a restaurant/bar when he told me the story.

I worked for many years at a truss plant. Our office manager had a drawer full of checks for 2-1/2 5 hours from new guys that left at break or lunch never to return.

per TGP SOP, I'm going to reply without reading:

no she shouldn't have been in there. it's a tiger FFS!

condolences to the family. maybe i'll read the story later but I need to keep working.

Hopefully they won't do anything to the tiger in retribution. This is, after all, what tigers do - hunt, kill, eat.

I agree. I have experience was almost attacked by an old bobcat. I was in it's tree near dusk and it found me keeping it's spot warm, lol.
