Tim PROBLEM!!! uh oh...

Granted, its taken quite a bit of road abuse, but my Tim pedal is acting up.

When engaged, the signal doesnt always pass at full volume...it almost sounds like a dead tube.
My uneducated guess is maybe a loose power wire inside but i have no clue.

How do i get this fixed? I use it all the time and its pretty key (as most of you know)

Should i call Paul and send it to him or what? I dont have his number and I didnt buy it straight from him, i got it in the Emporium a while ago...

Have you opened it up? Make sure the battery hasn't come out of place. If you don't see anything call Paul up - he stands firmly behind his stuff - I've called him with some questions and he always provides a solution.

Don't even bother opening it. If you aren't sure where to even start looking with fixing the pedal, it can potentially cause more problems for you to try and fix it yourself. Give Paul a ring - i'm sure he'd be more than willing to help you with your problem in whatever capacity he can. Before doing anything try this -

plug a short cord into the effects loop in and out creating a loop. I had a problem with mine and Paul explained that sometimes the contacts on the effects loop get bad and this fixed my problem.

Its worth a try. Good luck.

Paul has good turn around time. He fixed my faulty boost switch asap.

You may have already done this, but check your cables. I had similar problems and it turned out to be a bad patch cable.
