Anyone ever have any problems running the TIM on a 9volt power supply?

It works with the battery, but as soon as I plug it in - no light-won't turn on.

    I'm I doing something stupid?

Is the power connect lead you're using wired for the correct polarity?

Well, the TIM is just labeled 9v DC and the Fuel Tank Junior says it includes "standard" power cables so I guess I assumed (wups) that it would work out. I didn't see anything in the TIM pdf or the Fuel Tank Jr. manual that talked about polarity.

The TIM is the same as most pedals with regard to polarity.

I'm presuming you've been able to power other standard centre pin negative pedals from your Fuel Tank Jr with that power connect cable and the same outlet?

Yup, everything else works fine. I've tried using cables that proved to work with the other units, so I know it's not just the cord.

There could be a bad connection in the DC jack. Contact me direct, and I can take care of it.

I just poked at it a little and it started working for a bit, so it must be a faulty jack...off to Paul it goes.
