I'm just wondering if doing the mod electronically rather than actually flipping the magnet in the neck p'up ends up sounding the same. I would think it would, and it's certainly easier & less invasive, plus you can even switch it on the fly (which Mr. J. Page did, right?).

Anyway, I'm sure this one small mod to my LP will make me sound exactly like Green, right?

Done the magnet swap on buckers and the phase switch too. They sound different, but the magnet flip is only for cats who really want to commit to it. I am much happier having the option to switch between both sounds.

Thanks for the info. It would be nice to have the option of having both regular and out of phase, which of course is impossible once you flip the magnet. I think Gibson even offers the switchable phase thing now on new LPs, plus isn't this something Jimmy Page does on his LP?

Curious to hear about anyone else's experiences with this, too.
