Me and my trusty '77 Musicman Stingray in high school circa 1986.

I fronted this band on guitar, but that bass is my 1937 Kay Upright.

My amps have gone from the Thunderous back breaking Mesa Boogie 400+ and a 8x10 cab to a Mark Bass Lil Mark with 4x10 cab to a TC Electronic 2x10 combo.

Started with the 77 musician and have owned a lot of basses through the years but always came back to the 'Ray. It's my only bass now and all I need.

I have a Bass 400+ torn apart in the basement... It's probably been 10 years, I need to get some glass and reattach the transformers... put that thing back together and get some wattage going through that machine...

I played my NS NXT (electric upright) at a rehearsal for the first time last week. Loved every second of it.

I have a very simple Bass Rig. My tastes in Bass Guitar tones are very simple.

    Yamaha P/J Style Bass Guitar
    Ibanez TS9 Overdrive Pedal
Crate BX160 Bass Amp, with 15" JBL, and Graphic EQ

I have an ESP Horizon II Five-String bass and a Zoom B3. A really simple rig, I've been meaning to get a bass amp, but I'd probably never be able to play that at home.

So, is the splitter there to run everything in parallel basically, then sum them all back to a single output?

Yes. All that stuff is muddy when running in series but sounds uuuuuuige in parallel.
