I am going to purchase an Eventide Timefactor on craigslist after work tonight but I have one big concern.

I have read that there is some noise issue's when you run into the front of your amp which is what I will be doing since I do not have a fx loop on my amp (but I am running through a very high quality amp). Does anyone have any experience with this???

    Thanks

Can't notice any noise issue in front of a SF Twin Reverb and JC120.

I've been using a Timefactor every day since they first came out...I don't have an effects loop so I run it in front of the amp also. I've never had a problem with it. Great pedal.

No problems here into countless studio and backline amps and my bogner shiva. I suspect the issue with other folks involved pedal placement etc.

I used a TF in front of a Vox AC30 style amp without any noise issues.

I've run it in front of a Bogner Shiva, a Bogner XTC, and various Egnaters with no noise problems at all.

I used all 4 Eventide pedals at once in front of my amps about a year ago.
They were all whisper quiet. This was with multiple guitars and amps.
If someone gets noise (which I don't doubt), the source is somewhere else in the chain.

No noise from the TF here, either - even when running into an amp that's cooking.
