Timmy gets the light gain stuff perfectly for my tele.

What pairs with it well for hard rock leads and rhythms?

For me it's the Mosferatu. That plus a Timmy is a great combo.

    I'm waiting for my timmy!
Heres what i'm gonna try: timmy>kanji, timmy>menatone fish factory, timmy>3knob mosferatu, timmy>ac booster.

Heck, i'd be getting another timmy just for the fun of stacking it!

2 Timmy's can't be beat for light to medium gain overdrive. It's like cascading gain stages... so cool.

For higher gain, pairing it with a Dyna Red distortion is killer. My favorite is the Stephenson Stage Hog.

Checkout a BYOC Shredder - they are very versatile. You can get nice bluesy "bluesbreaker" type tones all the way up to almost metal. For the money it's one of the best distortions out there.

Also, the Barber Dirty Bomb might be a good combo with the Timmy. It has a wide gain range.

I too love my Timmy for low-medium gain, especially with my Tele. I find that the Fulltone OCD works really well with it. They sound great stacked too.

I'm going BBB07--> Timmy. I like it with the BBB07 set for the Rangemaster setting.

Screwdriver--> Timmy is also very nice.

Exactly what I was thinking. The variety of quality fuzz, treble booster, clean, overdrive and distortion tones you could get out of that set up is staggering.

About to get a Timmy. For those who stack it, do you prefer Timmy 1st or 2nd in line of the combination, and why?

Another vote for the Timmy into an OCD. They pair up really well!
