My Timmy pedal is making a very noticeable popping noise when turned on and off. I took it out of my pedal chain and it popped by itself too. Anyone else have this problem? Its not extremely loud but enough for me to notice when playing.

Try shooting a little TV Tuner cleaner in there (you can get it at Radio Shack) - its probably just dirty.

with the first response from Paul, i'd say let him look at it. True Bypass pedals by nature have a slight pop of grounding discharge which occures if pedals have oppertunity to build up a charge and than it is released (or something like that). i read it in an article when i was wondering why a looper was making popping noises. My old fulltone manual says that this is by their nature, and a way to solve it is to press the stomp on and off a few times before plugging in your amp. so it may just be by its nature.
