Tired of the Vintage sound...Higher Output pickups?

Okay, I am completely bored with the "vintage" sound and just don't want to do it anymore. So in my strat I have narrowed it down to these two sets of Higher Output pickups:

set 1: Rio Grande, Muy Grande single coil set

Set 2: Dimarzio, Virtual Solo (bridge), Chopper (mid), Heavy Blues 2 (neck)

Again, I'm going away from the vintage thing and leaning more toward heavier rock and metal again...so, what do you think? Any more ideas?

Lace Alumitones or EMG set with afterburner would be quite "nonvintage" and work well for metal.

I have played a few strats with 3 Duncan Hot Rails. Didn't think I'd like it since I am more of a vintage head, but it was lots of fun.

The Dimarzio Virtual Vintage pickups lean towards a vintage sound and don't mix well the blade pickups (unless the blade pup is in bridge).
If you want metal...

Bridge: Dimarzio Fast Track 2, Middle: Dimarzio Fast Track 1, Neck: Dimarzio Chopper

or

Bridge: Seymour Duncan Hot Rails, Middle: Seymour Duncan Vintage Rails, Neck: Seymour Duncan Cool Rails

Use 500K pots and .022 capacitors for both sets.
