Man what a waste of internet space.

A guy is raving about some chinese better than ever NOS tube, which cannot be bought anywhere (anymore), which origin is scetchy and of which OP states he bets it will have a longer live than, say, a JJ.

    Wow

    Just my 2cts of course

How do you know they are relabeled TJ's?

Are you saying that these are "NOS Chinese," or that I claimed these were better than NOS? Do you consider Chinese tubes made within the last decade from a company that may have halted production as "NOS?"

And these are for sale all over eBay, so you're wrong, they're very available.

I'm not understanding the motive of your post. What's wrong with starting a thread about a Full Music tube that out-performs all JJ, Shuguang, and Sovtek tubes?

Did you do a blind a/b test against every other current production tube? If not, then your claim doesn't mean much.

Hah, I was just about to say that I don't get why people are reacting so badly aside from the "ignore" part, but then I read this and was like, yeah, what an annoying thread.

I mean, given that it started out with "why do people ignore these tubes" as if everyone is aware of them and purposefully avoiding talking about them, I guess I should have known it would not end well.

In any case, what are you looking for someone to say here, exactly?: "I have tried them"? What's the point?

Here's a good photo of the TJ Full 12AX7. That internal construction is unique, and easy to discern from other Chinese 12AX7. Even the glass shape (especially the evacuation tip!) is unique:

The Northern Electric 12AX7 that TheTubeStore sells looks identical to me.

    Thom;

I think you should buy a pair and do shoot off with your tube stash, so the rest of us will know if they are worthwhile without risking our own $$$ ;)

What a fine idea! Maybe you can make a Kickstarter contribution toward my alimony payments, and help make meals for my kids while I do that? ;);)

The TJ/NE is a nice enough sounding tube and is quiet, but for $50 there are good NOS or ANOS out there. If buying modern Chinese, one could do worse than the TADs.

I'm willing to send the NE to you Thom, if you are motivated to do a head to head with Shugs and/or prove the community they are i fact the same as TJ/Full Music.

I appreciate your offer, and might take you up on it - if I felt an interest in either of those tubes drawing me. But I'm not particularly enthused. I agree about the $50 vintage choices - even used - those are much more interesting to me.

Besides - I'd be surprised if I could "prove" anything to anyone here on TGP!

Teehee somehow I just KNEW Thommy Thom Timbre Wolf was going to decline that offer! He's not a fan of any current production tubes, when he can enjoy his NOS beauties at all times! I don't blame him either ;)

I admit it - I'm not confident enough in new-production quality to get over my threshold of resistance. Especially if I have to pay, or spend many hours uncompensated. I'll do that for vintage valves, on my own volition.

Psavane has called for feedback on their "Black Treasure" 12AX7LS. I've almost offered to participate, and even drafted a letter to them. But my personal life is too demanding, and frankly, my kids' needs take precedence over all this nonsense.

    I'll cheer someone else on!

Ok like I said before all of the other Chinese tube manufaturers folded with the bad economy. Im no expert but there were several other tube makers in China but they are all gone now so either these are out of business or made by the only one left. The economic dowturn took a huge toll on the China economy.

Here is a question why do you not see these tubes on any tube dealers website?

Which ones - those that are no longer in production? Or those being sold by TheTubeStore?
