RS did a top refin on one of my Les Pauls and it took two months.
That includes a month of drying time.

If it's to be Poly.....Pat Wilkins without question. He has done two finishes for me on a PRS, and they were perfect. He also gets the work done when he promises.
If it's nitro work.....I am trying out a new refinisher , so I can't speak to the quality of his work yet.

Lay's Guitar Shop in Akron, Ohio has done great work for me many times
    over the last 35+ years.

Asked this same question about a year ago. The thread is gone but I still have the last reply to the thread:

Anyone have contact info for Jack Pigeon or Jay Black? Mark Jenny won't do non-relic finishes; I had been thinking of Dawn at Naked Body Guitars but am now scared by some of the messages in this thread; Jeff Senn isn't taking any refin work. I have e-mail in to Scott Lentz but his website talks only about new guitars, not finishing.

Hope this helps - I still haven't got the funds accrued to ship any of these folks my '63 poorly re-fin'd strat to bring her back to original sunburst...
