NFL probably pushed it to remind folks why NE lost a first round pick in the NFL draft this week.

This argument is used all the time, yet the NFL continues to grow and make record profits every year...how is that?

Oh... I didn't say he isn't making more money, but he is ruining the game for folks like me. I am starting to not want to watch it... Like ever again. But I still come back even though Goodell is such an ass.

    I understand.

However, I'm not convinced that Goodell is really the one to blame. If he was solely responsible for the changes/actions that most fans seems to hate, I'm sure the owners would dump him. However, I think the owners love him strictly because he's the focal point of the hate while they are actually pulling the strings behind the curtain.

3 out of the first 4 games for NE at home, 2 of them against division rivals. Usually those are slam dunk wins for the Pats. If Tommy Boy is suspended the first 4 games of the season... this could derail Pats division title chances significantly.

And they are making money hand over fist! So I get it. Not only do they make money in annual revenues, but the franchises appreciate a bunch every year. Malcolm Glazer bought the Bucs for a mere $192M and the franchise is worth $1B or more now. Nice appreciation on that investment!

I agree. There's a group of owners who have had it out for the Pats and Roger is really just the patsy. But still... F that guy. lol

I'm sure this story will fill the evening news broadcasts.... or maybe under-fill them?
