Tom Misch ... Thoughts?

    I've been checking out a bunch of recent things from guitarist/singer/songwriter Tom Misch. I like a lot of what I'm hearing. He's young and current and seems to have some creative depth and a cool quirkiness that I find very appealing.

    I've been listening to more of his music over the last few days and I feel like it deserves a few more listens than it got on the first try.

    I like it. It's got a nice easy funky rhythm.

    Fantastic guitar player, interesting chords - his Reverie EP was my favourite recording of last year:



    Beat Tape 2 is great too.

    Just thought I'd bring this one back with his newest video. He has some really nice understated playing on this.

    Fuggin loved every single moment...flawless ...
    That keyboard solo alone was a complete lesson in how to play outside so musically the average listener would just enjoy it without question...
