Picked up a Tomkins Diamondtina II (Telecaster design) with Australian Red Cedar body. What a fantastic guitar. It has Nordstrand NMT pickups in it. Weighs 6.5 pounds. The neck pickup is the best sounding Tele neck pickup I've ever heard. Middle position sounds really great. I might, however, change out the bridge pickup as it sounds pretty thin and extremely trebly. Nitro finish... overall build quality is top-notch. Some of the best fret-work and set-up I've ever seen. Very flat radius (about 16 inch radius), plays really easy. I put 11's on there, tuned down a 1/2 step... sounds huge

Tomkins is a small builder from Australia. Dale Watkins and a few other country stars have started playing his Telecasters.

Had to sell a bunch of gear to get it. Worth every penny

Definitely a looker. I nearly bought a cedar topped PRS back in the early-mid 90's that I still kick myself for not picking up. Such a beautiful wood when the right piece is used.

As an Aussie, I have played a few of Tomkin's guitars. Love them. Great use of Aussie woods.
