-Why you want this cd? I've enjoyed Tomo's Youtube clips.

-List your 5 favorite artists. Jimi Hendrix, Ed Van Halen, Jimmy Page, Joe Satriani, Eric Johnson (and many more, plus many non-guitar related).

-List 5 favorite cds/tunes from above. EJ: "Ah Via Musicom"; JH: everything; EVH: Fair Warning (all but "VH III"; JP: all Led Zep; JS: everything.

-Your strength as a guitar player. Still playing and trying to learn more after 31 years, and writing riffs.

-Your weakness as a guitar player. Advanced harmony.

-List your favorite main gears (guitars, amps, pedals, strings, picks). US Masters Guitar Works Legrand guitar, several tube amps (THD Univalve, Peavey JSX; USMGW TVA 30; Lexicon Signature 284; Mesa Express, etc), Line 6 HD500; too many pedals, but Fulltone MVD-2, Moreley Bad Horsie wah; LaBella strings; various picks (Jazz 3, Dunlop, V-Picks, etc.).

-What is your goals? Continue to improve and enjoy music, and get back into writing and recording.

-Write any additional comments. I sincerely enjoy Tomo's your contributions to TGP, including your consitently positive attitude.

    -Why you want this cd?
Heard a lot of Tomo youtube clips that I enjoyed and Tomo's rep on TGP is great.

    -List your 5 favorite artists
This is tough... at the moment its:
    1) Jeff Beck
    2) Gov't Mule
    3) Keith Urban
    4) John Mayer
    5) Buddy Miller

-List 5 favorite cds/tunes from above.
    1) Jeff Beck - Emotion and Commotion
    2) Gov't Mule - Deep End Vol 1
    3) Keith Urban - Defying Gravity
    4) John Mayer - Continuum
    5) Buddy Miller - Universal United House of Prayer

-Your strength as a guitar player.
Not overplaying, letting the song dictate the parts. Also, really been working on the subtleties of my vibrato and feel like its starting to come together to help create my own voice. Tone.

-Your weakness as a guitar player.
Not a fast or particularly technically proficient player. Never went through a "Shred" phase like many seem to have so I never developed some of those jaw-dropping skills.

-List your favorite main gears(guitars, amps, pedals, strings, picks)
    My only gear:
Gibson Les Paul Traditional Pro, Squier CVC Tele+Bigsby B5 Trem, & Larrivee L-03RE
Pedals by Visual Sound, Fulltone, Boss, TC Electronic, EHX
    Egnater Tweaker Head and Cab

    -What is your goals?
To gain some speed and more proficiency across and up/down the fretboard. Continue to refine the subtle aspects of playing like feel, vibrato, new ways to play notes (sliding up or down into the note, starting from a bend, etc).

    Thanks Tomo

Got the package today! It was packed full of Tomo's instructional material and a bunch of his CD's and DVD's, all autographed and he even included 3 of his signature Pickboy picks which are really cool. I can't wait to dive in and hit the woodshed. I cannot believe how generous Tomo is. Thanks SO much, Tomo! You are a great player and a great human being. :beer

Sweet! That's amazing. Had no clue Tomo had his own signature picks. I'll definitely have to look Pickboy up. Hadn't heard of them.
