You look like Wayne Krantz.....almost! Twinkle Twinkle...... mmh, i like your relaxed funky-playing, super thight and super relaxed! WOW greeetz & houba! Paco
Wayne teaches at Berklee. He does quite a lot his clinics at Berklee. A nice guy! Thank you so much! In order to play really funky and groove ... You really have to relax well too. "How to relax" was a first topic at Tone Merchants clinic. You have really good insight! Tomo
Thank you so much for your kind words on my playing. I play things very very simple. As a concept, I think (?) like a piano player. So I don't chase chord shapes and scale. I teach this at this clinic .... Use simple triads, Rt 3 5... then you can have Rt on Top, or 3rd on top, 5th on top... over i chord. So you can do same way over iv and v chords. Keep it simple. Pick a simple tune. Play melody on 1st string or 2nd string. Then play with chord melody. Sorry, I can't teach here. I only can show you some key to go around the concept. You can use standards..... but I prefer more simple tunes. Please check out my Tone Merchants clinic dvd. This dvd will show you how to do this idea. If you are interested in this dvd, please email me. music@tomofujita.com Thanks, Tomo
