That thing sounds awesome! How are the legs attached to that cab? Moving that twice is all that it would take for me to knock a few of them off.

Mark brought one over to a studio locally and I had a chance to try it opened up. I think it's his best sounding amp. I really like the way it flexes and bends. I could not get some of his smaller amps to handle the same way. Unlike big Fenders of the same rating, this amp seemed more bouncy and saggy (in a very good way). I didn't find it mushy at all, but it gave in to you a little when you really dug in, if that makes sense. It also had a very big and wide response. If you had it in a little room, you wouldn't really be living it IMO.

I also had a chance to try out the Ironman Attenuator with it. I liked that, but kept wanting to defeat it - not because it sounded bad, but because the amp sounded so good loud.

I will continue to try to get Mark to build a combo version of the Galaxy. That in a BluesBreaker-sized cab would be killer, for combo guys like myself.

I love the clips I've heard of this amp. The 4x6L6 power section must give this baby some serious cajones!

Yeah, 4 cathode biased 6L6 at an elastic 60w sounds like it'd be fantastic. I like SS rectified BF amps, but the clips of this one make me wonder if I wouldn't fall head over heals for it. I have no money but I have the want.

I like the way it looks to be honest lol. It has a really retro-futuristic look.

If George Jetson was a player, this would be his amp. Very "futuristic" looking for sure.

Really impressed with the demo and described feel of this amp. Does anyone else agree that it would be great to see this model in a 2 X 6L6 combo without legs...for the rigors of gigging?

:agree I think you can run with just 2 power tubes, but you should confirm that with Mark. I know the legs come off easily - I saw Mark unscrew them after the demo. The whole thing (head and cab) was not terribly heavy either. I was surprised.
