Looks like I will have an extra TT hemp speaker sitting around after some recent speaker swapping...I have a reissue Deluxe I love, but have never been a fan of Jensens. Think the TT in it would be worth a shot?

Yes indeed. Nice tight low end. Smooth mids, and a sweet top end. What's not to like? give it a shot. It will take 10 minutes if you use clips on the speaker terminals to try it out.

    I say go for it!

    Scott,

That is what I have in my 66 Deluxe Reverb, a TT H1 Alnico. Have a ceramic 10 " in my 67 Princeton Reverb. Can't go wrong here.

Really smooths that amp out from the Jensen reissue crapper.

Hey Jack, are talking about the Ceramic or Alnico tubby? I have an alnico in my 5E3 clone and it is a great speaker for that amp. Great clean tones and overdriven ones as well. I find the speaker really holds the bottom end together too. Do it.....do it now!

I have the ceramic Tone Tubby in my 5e3 ...lots of bottom and sweet when cranked...no harsh tones. I love it.
