Mojo Hand FX
Sadly, HBE recently called it quits... and I don't even think Eventide would refer to themselves as boutique. High end pro audio, sure. But that doesn't make it boutique.
For all the love that the Mythical Overdrive gets, I'm surprised Rimrock didn't get a single mention in 7 pages!
I've bought and sold several Catalinbreads, Wampler, Strymon, MI Audio, Xotic, Way Huge, Analogman, TC Electronics, BBE. . .
But the Basic Audio Futureman soldiers on as my only boutique pedal.
Many great ones but my top 3 are
Stomp Under Foot.
Mike, Steve, and Matt respectively are great guys and build top-notch effects.
I feel that for someone to be one of the top "boutique" pedal makers their product must show a personalized voice. If a company is mostly known for making clones of other guy's circuits with high grade parts it doesn't really count as "boutique" to me.
My list that I have personal experience with would have to include Analogman, Wampler, Keeley, Lizard Legs, Zyvex and Durham Electronics. But then, I haven't owned 20 pedals that would qualify, so my list is pretty lacking I'm sure.
Fulltone (like much more the old ones)
Um, struggling now...
Can I say Himmelstrutz again?
I know it's only four but thought I'd chip in! Some other great brand mentioned by other people.
