to be clear, these aren't real "demos" of these pedals; it's just me, checking things out, recording to iPhone.

    catalinbread antichthon! (& catalinbread echorec);
    whoa.

so, this is my first go with both of 'em, after approx. 5 minutes of pretty sketchy forethought, or:
"oh lord!, pls forgive me, for i knows nots what i does....."
    etc.
    i mean that.

i was focusing on manipulating the Antichthon, of course.

ronin gtr > catalinbread antichthon > fryette d120 amp > fryette power station with catalinbread echorec & neunaber slate reverb in loop > iPhone > Logic

    maybe it's over..... there

what a cool pedal, really..... great sounding, here.
i might do a clip with more "traditional sounding" fuzz.

    EDIT:
    nah!
someone else can do that one.

    ha!

more catalinbread antichthon & catalinbread echorec, recorded to iPhone.
    the second go.
it was an improv, as usual:
but, here i added 2 bass notes, underneath the guitar's final 2 chords.

ronin gtr > catalinbread antichthon > fryette d120 amp > fryette power station with catalinbread echorec & neunaber slate reverb in loop > iPhone >Logic

    "foot of state":

    damn!, it's a great pedal.....
not atypically: the more i play with it, the more i seem to be learning it & its sensitive interaction w/my touch & my guitar's volume & tone & pickup-selector/splits controls.
i'll be adding another clip or 2, as time permits.

I've also heard tell that the Antichthon reacts differently to different guitars/pickups.
I don't have one. But that reactive aspect is highly intriguing.

These are great clips. Seems like it offers a whole sack of tonal shenanigans.
Enjoy the journey of discovery. I've been enjoying hitching a ride to peep the clips
    that you're creating with it.

    yeah, sean; true!
i love this interactive thing w/fuzz:
antichthon is particularly sensitive/interactive, and in a variety of manipulable ways:
    great design, imo!
i think it's one of those pedals where folks say, "not for everyone", but.... me, i think it's only about taking the time to explore & discover.

there's some killer "normal" fuzz in here, too: ha!

of course, sensitivity to guitar/touch/tone+vol ctrls is also true of many, many other fuzzes:
fuzzes w/germanium @ (or, very close to?) the input-stage, fuzz with any kind of feedback-circuit(s) in play:
    fuzz-faces, ToneBenders Mk-I & Mk-III's (at least!), Z-Vex FuzzFactory, Basic Audio FuzzMutant, PTD Tornita/Bone Machine/RotoBone, AnalogMan Sunbender & etc.

    thanks so much, you!
there'll be another few clips, i think, as time allows; oh, damn: time!
    my enemy, my friend.

Catalinbread hit this one out of the park. The Antichthon is a modern classic.

Yeah. It seems like the way the sensitivity for when the trem kicks in
adds a whole new kind and layer of fuzz-interactivity. Good stuff.

and, there's always a new surprise at hand, to boot! some quite subtle, some quite gross, all quickly & musically controllable.

    my interest-in & love-for this thing seems to continue increasing;
    supercool goodness.

    i suspect so.
i've gotta keep my travel rig petite, though!

i'm very fortunate to have some tough choices, here, vis à vis which fuzzes will come along, this time.
