What a steal. The guy is even generous enough to thrown in a custom made anvil case for an extra $300. You think if you are going to pay someone $25,000 for an amp they would include the case for free.

I want to know what he plans on doing with a custom fitted Anvil case that doesnt fit anything else he owns once the Express sells... Seems pretty uh, petty to not include it in the sale...

Get a snider chicago instead. More ppl on this board need to at least check out a snider amp (the CA or the Chicago).

I really like what I've heard of the Snider amps, I'll pull the trigger on one of them some day.

I thought that the New Jersey model that Hi-Test Guitars sells was actually the one loosely based on a Trainwreck design... from the clips... it sure sounds like it:D

Good suggestion for sure though, would save people a lot of money and give'em THE tone.

    Buyer pays shipping.

Dude, for 25k he should throw in the $30 shipping for free.

$1600 is my max quote! That's the original list price Ken asked in 1994 ... wish my name could still be seen on his waiting list.

I have my doubts this will sell at that price. However I have heard of one bringing $23k and "heard" of other similar transactions. Yep, he should have just included all the details (case and shipping) in with the flat price. Folks with this kinda cash like to keep it simple. I still bet it will bring somewhere between 15k-25k privately, after the auction completes without "selling".

Ken says he only made about 100 Wrecks, all models inclusive. With that kind of rarity, and the hype/legend around them money can get freaky. When they come up for sale at the rate of 1 every year or two, maybe... things "happen". Heck, if it sells for 25k then it IS worth 25k. We'll see.

Check out my video clips. All knocks aside about "value" they aren't your average amplifier.

All I know is that if someone offered me 25K for mine I wouldn't sell it, and it's not that I don't need the money. I need the tone much more. When you find something that works for you like magic, stick with it!

I don't see anything strange about that. Some Les Pauls go for ten times that, and the tone you get when you mate them, as Geeterpicker demonstrates, is more than 1/10th amp, 9/10 guitar.

It could SELL without a pic...

It's probably the only one for sale on the planet at this time. Weird rules then apply...

yea, if there is only one avail, and demand is high, the seller can call most of the shots, within reason.

I sold all my Wrecks when they were 1.5Gs. Don't miss them either.
