Can you guys give me the names of a few of your favorite tremelo pedals (preferably boutique makers). I know there are a lot out there, but I don't know much about boutique effects other than Zvex. Thanks

Red Witch Pentavocal - Great trem, currently on the board.
Empress Tremolo - Plan to get one of these soon I think.

Thanks for the link. I honestly searched, but found just about everything except what I was looking for.

+1 on 4ms - I've got a custom "stereo panneur" - stereo trem pedal that's a stone killer. Dann's a cool guy and will work with you to get you what you want. Mine even has an extra LFO for my Moogerfooger Lowpass Filter.[IMG]

Empress trem, Catalinbread Semaphore and Cusack tap-a-whirl seem to be at the top in my book as far as features are concerned (tap tempo on the empress and cusack and the semaphore is small with lots of options as well).

Mileseven I finally settled on the Empress and ordered it. It should be here next week. I'll let you know how I like it.

I just got my stereo panneur with an expression jack, ramp up mod, and gain control. It's soooo nice. I can get any trem sound I want as well as whacky spaced-out sounds. Works very well with a feedback looper too.

Also, check out Ronsound's Trem-O-Matic. It's a Vox Repeat Percussion clone and under $150. Very cool. Not exactly tremolo per se, but very close and has its own flavor. www.ronsound.com

Red Witch Pentavocal Trem, great sound but not "vintage", many different sounds and a unique "bottom" control, no tap tempo

Cusack Tap-A-Whirl, great tremolo, very transparent, tap tempo with per-wave programmable option (remembers settings for each waveform ... or doesn't, depending on the internal jumper setting) ... on my board now.
