I recently acquired a floyd rose equipped guitar with a tremol-no installed.

It is currently set to have the bridge stay fixed.

I understand you can adjust the treol-no to allow for either, fixed, dive only, or full float. I am looking to set it up as dive only.

Anyone have any experience with doing this?

    Detailed instructions would be great.

    Thanks in adavnce

There are three thumbscrews on the back of the T-no: two on the piece that attaches to the trem block, and one on the "Deep C" (the rightmost thumbscrew in the picture below).

To set up as dive only, loosen the two thumbscrews on the piece attached to the trem block, slide the Deep C as far as you can towards the tremolo block and then tighten its thumbscrew. You're now in dive-only mode.
