Do you put your tremolo before OD?
    Can I ask why?

my t rex mudhoney is after my trem. the thing is this: depending on the amp used & your other effects, there are so many ways to line up effects. when it sounds the way you like, you're there. if not, well then the search continues. i have a vibe that works fine with one amp, then with another it has a volume drop......go figure. so it varies. have fun :munch

Yep. I just got a Tremulator, which has a 1db boost built into it. I tried it after od and it was a bit over-powering. Before the od, and it sounds perfect. I did not try this with the band yet, so everything may change.

You could get some really cool tone variations like that, especially by putting it in front of a Ge fuzz with good cleanup, a Honey Bee/Rat, asymmetric OD, etc. Anything that reacts very dynamically with more distortion to volume changes but still has plenty of compression.

Great, now I want to go mess with this idea but I'm stuck at work ...
