Havent done a search - just looking for some hot takes on trems that are not hiss factories or cause dips or jumps in output. Open minded on soft fender throb or choppy flavors. What’s good?

Ibanez's Lo-Pro Edge might be the best out there:

i'm a bigsby man, since this already went sideways :facepalm

flint still working just fine for me. i like having the three flavors ready to go: throbby, smooth and choppy. two knobs keeps it simple enough.

That may be your favorite, but I'll bet most will find it difficult to include on their pedal board.

I have a ColdCraft Harmonic Trem that brings a really warm background flavor to the tone.
And it has (basically) a tone control and a volume control.
    Really love that pedal.

I’m on the hunt too and am considering Flint, Parabola, or Dazatronyx.

I mean no offense, but I'm betting the much shorter list would be, "Tremolo, What's NOT Good?"

After going through a bunch of the TGP darlings the blue wave from Lovepedal ended my search for classic Trem sounds, although I just got a source audio true spring and I’m interested to see if I like the Trem options in that enough to make the blue wave redundant.

JHS Kodiak was the one I picked out after trying, like, all of them. Diamond and Wampler are also great.

I’ve had the voodoo lab trem for about 15yrs, now.
    Still love it.
I wanted a harmonic trem, so the Supro is on my board for now.
    Both are amazing.
I’d LOVE to get an original Fulltone trem. It’s interested me ever since Roscoe Ambel talked about using it with Steve Earle. But I just don’t need another trem.

    My faves...

    Spaceman
    Throbby
    Flint
    Old School
Cardinal V1 (haven't tried other versions)
Twin Peaks v1 (haven't tried other versions)

The Randy's Revenge serves up tasty trem along with ring mod.

I still have the Flint, Cardinal, and RR.

I have the lovepedal babyface trem, sounds great and lotsa tweaks from fendery to throbbing but the internal switches for depth just sucks imo.

    Holding pattern...

Origin Effects will soon come out with one.

Expect to pay $$$, and be very satisfied.

I like the Tremulator or PN-2 for panning.

Lots of great suggestions already, but seriously, the boss tr-2 is great. Cheap, built like a tank, and the wave knob opens up a pretty wide variety of sounds, from lush and throbby to choppy.

The PN-2 is outstanding. The other I use is the Flint along with those great verbs.
