tremonti pickups...do they sound like Creed's first two albums??

big fan only of the first two cds, i hear he only plays prs on human clay though not the first one ........ but im thinking of buying tremonti pickups for my tremonti SE.....should i do it?? they sound like human clay??

A HOT pickup and a recto with 6l6s should get you most of the way. The tremonti lead pup is around 15k from my understanding. The SC back then was also had more depth as well.

A Gibson 500T and a Dual Recto will get you any late 90's tone your heart desires...

I think the amp had more to do with his sound than anything else. Also, I believe he used a 15" speaker along with his 4x12s to get such deep low end

If Mark is playing a PRS then he is using Tremonti pickups...lol. Your guitar will sound like you through your guitar but a pickup upgrade on the SE will be an improvement for sure.

yep, just like gibsons lower priced lines the prs se has low output, muddy HBs. replacing them w any decent pup will be a huge improvement and make you question how its possible that a <$100 pup will make a guitar that costs $800 less than the other sound almost as good. they do it on purpose so the layman will think they can only get a good sounding guitar is they pay through the teeth for it.

i think i might go ahead and buy the tremonti pickups down the road when i get the cash... i also plan to get the usa made HFS + Vintage bass pickups for my PRS SE Tim Mahoney (311).... i think you guys are right probably anything with humbuckers would work, i have a mini rectifier.......

You need a Gibson 500T, a dual recto and a 15" speaker. And you need to stick with the dot inlays. The bird inlays are for the later Creed toans.
