Tried a TC Nova Delay - motorboating problem.

Today I tried a TC Nova Delay into the loop of a Boogie Dual Rec.
When I tried going through the included patches, a weird motorboating
sound would come from the Nova!

Anyone had this problem with it? What causes this? Is there something
I'm doing wrong with the unit? Otherwise, it sounded very good when I got it to work.

I also didn't quite understand how to recall patches with your foot. Do you have to press both the Tap and On/Off button at the same time?

To go into Preset mode, hold down on the left switch, when you lift off, it will go to preset mode.

To switch presets once in this mode - tap the right switch once and then the left switch to cycle through the presets, using the left switch - tap the right switch and then the left switch to check the preset # you are currently on, and keeping pressing the left switch to cycle.

did you calibrate the input level to the boogie's loop level before trying it?
