I tried doing an amp demo after I shot my video lesson this week and it was pretty lame, but I thought I would put it up for s### and giggles...its my Suhr Classic through my 1971 Deluxe Reverb with a Greenback in it...

Demo's not lame........it's really good. Your amp and pedals sound great AND your playing is great as well.. I'm impressed.

    Thanks!

    Thanks guys!

If I can figure out a better way to do one of these I was thinking of doing something more complete with each of my main guitars...I thought it might be a cool feature on my site for people to hear the difference between Les Pauls, Strats with singles and humbuckers and a Tele....

    Thanks!

The Deluxe was only on 1 and a half...it is really loud with the 25 watt greenback speaker, and as you can hear towards the end of the video any more volume would totally distort the video cameras mic....the amp really opens up and sounds big around 3.....

thanks Mark - wow - 1.5 on the vol and all that tone yeah - my deluxe does the same thing, opens right up at 3, breaks up nicely at 4. I sometimes use the normal channel (no trem) and that channel is a beast at 2, totally ballsy and loud too. I have a Weber 12F150 with JJ tubes - I use a hotplate on most gigs, it's that loud.

Its amazing how big such a small amp can sound...I think they are totally underrated....I usually play through the trem channel, but I have a mod on the trem where you can take it out of the circuit, so its like the normal channel but with reverb...

Sounds real good to me, The Barber pedals work great with your guitar and amp!

Dude, that is one of the better demo vids I have seen. Nice playing, nice tone and good sound on the vid...which is more than I can say for lots of demos. Good job! What did you use to record the sound?

    Thanks! :D

I just used the built in mic on the camera...thats why I had to keep the amp volume down so it wouldn't distort so much...
