I had a 68 SuperBass tweaked to SuperLead specs, but have since sold it. To Greg Germino, nonetheless.

I have a '69 plexi 100. Love it. Love it. Love it.

Way the hell too loud to fully crank where I live; but occasionally when the neighbors are out I'll push it a bit. Seems to love every guitar.

Hey- I think I own your old amp. Changed faceplate? I'd love some history on it. PM me.

And NICE thread!! Home sweet home... Here's my transitional 68/69 Super Bass and a 1967 Super Trem... both 100w of sweet Plexi glory. I almost had a third but showed restraint. These amps are everything I ever dreamed an amp to be.

Top one is recapped by Dave Friedman, bottom is about to get restored/tweaked by Dave... and was used by Dio's cousin on the first ELF album.

How much headroom can one expect out of a Bass (50w) head versus the Super Bass? How loud does yours get before significantly distorting?

I own an original 1974x which has a plexi panel too since it's been made between 1966 and 1968. Unfortunately it's terribly looking cosmetically but sounds gorgeous...
