Trying to downsize. Can the DT25/50 replace my curent amps?

A while back, I made the move to my HD500 with an EV ELX112p FRFR. I've been very happy with it, and have played a good number of gigs with that set up. I do find I miss the punch of an amp, but I've been getting by.

Anyway, I have a Fender VM Deluxe & a Marshall DSL 401, that I haven't touched for more that an hour in the last six months, so I'm considering selling both of them for a DT. I think the DT25 would be enough power for me. How is the quality on the DT's?

Should I sell off my other amps?

I can tell you that the responses/reviews I've read for the DT series has all been very positive (and I love mine). If there are any negative reviews from people who have owned the amp I am unaware of them.

But at the end of the day whether you sell your other amps comes down to your personal needs--I sold my Marshall TSL/analog pedals for the HD/DT combo and haven't looked back at all.

The DT50/HD500 combo is the best tone I have ever had.

You will not miss your current amps.

I would sell those 2 particular amps for a DT50 or 25. I would get a 25 and try it on a gig, and if it's not loud enough, return it andget the 50. You will get your amp sound back.

I run a DT50 head with HD500, I sold a Mesa Dual Recto and a pile of pedals. I certainly don't miss my mesa.

I sold two qsc k12s for my DT50. Best move I've made in awhile. Don't miss FRFR at all.

This is sounding quite promising. Would the DT perform well independently?

It's not bad, but I think the best Marshall tone is the JCM800, which you only get with the HD500.

DT works well independently, but the tonal flexibility is amazing with the HD500

The DT amp by itself is not bad. With the hd it rocks
