Tube fx pedals into solid state pa or amps?

I'm considering an effectrode comp pedal which is tube based.
Since I play acoustic, I'll be going direct quite often. Any concerns? Will the pedal function similar to a tube amp in producing the sound?

Don't think there should be any issues. I used an Ibanez Tube King into a solid state amp for years without a problem.

It'll be fine. And I'm not sure what you mean by will it be similar to a tube amp. But it'll sound like a tube compressor.
