    Hi,

Can you please help me identify these two octal tubes for me.
The first one is a Motorola with a 1-2-4-5-7-8 pin out. On the base it says 5 4 6 W, the digits being written vertically.

The second is what I believe is a 6L6 type RCA tube with black plates. On the glass it says RCA 7552, the last digit being barely readable. What variant of the 6L6 family do you think it is?

    thanks

Nobody? What would be the best online community to ask this question?

The 7552 seems to be a triode of some sort, so not a beam tetrode and probably won't fit or operate in a socket intended for octal beam tetrodes/ power pentodes.
