I have a Tubemeister 5 that I purchased a year ago without a huge amount of research. I'm not entirely satisfied with it, and I'd prefer more of a Fender tone.

At this moment in time I'm primarily using it for Electric Piano and Clavinet (on a Hammond SK1). It sounds beautiful with a Rhodes and Wurly but it's a little harsh on the clav in the high end, and it's especially ear piercing when I add an envelope filter to it (DOD 440). Eventually I plan on using it with guitar (when I finish building mine), but I'm still not 100% confident I'll like it when that happens.

Any suggestions as to either get it to sound closer to a fender, or at least take the harshness out of the high end?
