Ok, so my brother is building a Brown Deluxe for me and i'm interested to hear some tube recomendations.

2-6V6's, 2-12ax7's and a 7025 are needed. We already have the rectifier tube.

I also need to source a transformer for it but i'll ask that in the tech section. If anyone might know that, it's much appriciated. Thanks, Rob

    Transformer? Mercury Magnetics.

Tubes? NOS RCA or Brimar 6V6GTs or new production Tung Sol Reissues.

7025s can be replaced by any high quality 12AX7/A, you won't find any real 7025s for reasonable prices.

12AX7/A: NOS RCA or GE. New Production Tung Sol Reissues.

Mike, can I make my DRRI softer with volume using Tung Sol Reissues or Brimar 6V6GT, I still have original Groove tubes installed and I would like less power from my amp.

Hey Mike, I was hopin you'd chime in.:AOK

I used some Tung sol's in a Musicmaster bass amp and they sounded great. I'll take a look into the Brimars too.

I'll be talkin to ya this week. I'm stoked about this amp.
