1. The Gear Page is run by musicians for musicians. We listen, we learn and if we misstep we are not afraid to do the right thing. We proposed some changes to the Emporiums. Based on feedback from members, we have decided to not go ahead with those changes. However, it has also highlighted that we need some community input into what is working and what is not working for members here. Primarily focused on the Emporiums, we'd like input on your thoughts about TGP and how things work in the Emporiums for you and how you'd improve them. The discussion thread on the is here!

    Hello folks :)

I'm a noob on this very cool forum...

I've had a 2001 Parker Fly Classic for about 6 months. It's without doubt the best guitar I've ever used.

This is a tune I did where all the guitar parts are the Fly.

    Enjoy (I hope!) :D

Hey, Rusty, that was fun! I really admire you cats who can play so cleanly. Looking forward to more!

    BTW, the Fly sounds great.

Har! Thanks very much for listening :)
I'm actually very bad at playing cleanly - you'd be amazed at the number of takes I do sometimes - thank goodness for multitracking software :D

Thanks for listening, Myles - you might have heard it before - it's the one I submitted to the "Weathering the storm" benefit CD... :)

Just listening now, and I must say, that's pretty damn smokin', dude...

The Fly sounds fantastic ( I love the track, too...)

Thanks for listening  although the term "smokin" would be much more appropriate for your clips (on your site)...

    cheers :D

Wow! Pretty hard not to love this stuff. The vocals have a very '60s flavor to me (almost a little Moody Blues vibe there) but the guitar playing is kick-ass contemporary. In fact, the contrast between the almost intimate vocals and the smokin' guitar works really well.

Heck, I also like the melodic sense and arrangement. Very nice tune. Fabulous playing too.

    Did I mention the guitar?
