Here's a tune called "Since You've Been Gone" from several years ago. There's a guitar solo in it sure but I posted this for the Roland VG-8 solo that starts about 3 minutes in. I really like the way it tracked. the way it responded to picking dynamics and the basic voice that I didn't change too much. Alas I gave it back to Roland. I'd still like to have one but oh well. Hope whoever listens enjoys. By the way I mentioned the title so you can get an idea of the mood I was going for. The solos are for the mood not to see how hot I can blow ..... which is probably tepid at best. Wow ...... that was a long setup.

You're an extremely mature musician that always captures the right mood ..

It goes to show good tone can come from just about anything.

I still have mine but use it for just a pedal steel patch. Obviously I am wasting a perfectly good unit as proved by this.

Really nice Buddy the VG-8 sounds great. Iv,e seen Allan Holdsworth using one live a couple of times sounding amazing. There was a guy on soundclick who had lots of demo clips of the new VG-99 (some of the best demos Iv,e ever heard) but he,s deleted them all.!!!

Great playing as well Buddy. :AOK
