tuner not picking up notes... impedance issue?

When I plug directly into the (Bodd TU2) tuner, it works fine, but it doesn't hear the pitches when it's plugged into the "tuner out" of the volume pedal... unless I turn the boost pedal on.

I do have a buffer on before the volume pedal (I use the 25k EB vol)

Any help here?

Since the tuner out puts the tuner back in parallel with the signal, losing the benefit of either a buffered or a true bypass tuner, why use it at all?

I just like leaving the tuner on all the time, and just backing off the volume pedal when I want to tune quietly.

I have an electric-acoustic, which sends out low impedance signal
With certain settings TU-2 doesn't read notes, and moreover, it even freezes.
I think the TU-2 is a bad match with low impedance signals.
