I was thinking about getting a true-bypass strip on my board, to deal with those tonesuckers. I found one that had a tuner-out/mute switch on it. I wouldn't use it, since I leave my tuner always on out of my VP, but could I use the tuner out as a second channel?

I was thinking...When it's not on, I would play through everything, but when I turned it on, I could run a second set of pedals through that and to the amp.

Would that work? I'd rather not have to buy an A/B box.

you might want to rethink the volume pedal tuner out thing if you're going for signal path purity.

Thanks for that article. I think I will run my strobostomp in the chain now.

But I still want to know if I can use that tuner out as a second channel...as long as it is connected to some sort of output device.
