I had some time to do a short "Crema-Mania" clip.

I'm lovin' this amp. I've taken it to a couple rehearsals so far with my Nocaster and R8 and it's made me wonder why I waited so long to get into the tweed style thing.
Stubborn I guess. My Super Reverb sounds great but this is the sound that's been in my head for years.
Plus, I need pedals to get these tones with the SR and still something was missing. Probably the low mids?

For this clip I used my R8 w/Tom Shorts Marc Ford Tombuckers. Only the bridge pickup for this one.
Lava ELC cable is the only thing between the guitar and amp.

I used the normal input volume-5, bright unused volume-9 and tone-9.
Quite loud at that volume too and the Scumback M75 sounds great.

The mic is an Audix I5 into Pro Tools 7.4 with a bit of small room reverb from Pro Tools added.

It's just some wankage in E but I think it shows some of the sounds you can get with the Crema Wheat.

New Clip! Same Les Paul. Normal volume's at 3, unused volume-8 and Tone-9. Bridge pickup then neck/bridge together.

Great clips and your tone sounds amazing! I am glad to hear some other clips of this amp. I love the fact you still here the air around the notes and it not just Greg V's playing. Now I just have to wait another 3 weeks for mine to arrive. :crazy

    Shnook,
Thanks for checking in! I like your vids too.

    Thanks M I K E D.!

    ryhlik,
Thanks! Yeah, I was almost reluctant to post a Crema clip after Gregs' stellar clips!
I 'm sure you're going to love your Crema Wheat.

    Thanks earthmud!

    BryanMatthews,
Thanks for listening. No flub at all with the LP. It might not sound like it in
the recording but the Crema was really pushing some air with the volume on 5.
Push the volume higher and you get more grind but it stays tight in the low end.
When I get some time I'll be adding more clips.

    Kojack19,
Thanks John. The amp's very dynamic.
I'm always working the volume on the guitar so it's the perfect amp for me.
    More clips to come.

Great sounding amp for sure. It's the 5e3 I've always wanted.

    Muzzy,
    Thanks, my thoughts exactly.

    BryanMatthews,
    The amp runs 2-12AX7, 2-6V6 or 5881 or 6L6 and a 5Y3/5U4G or GZ34 rectifier tube.
    Mine has 6V6's with a 5U4G.

    Hi Jim,
Great playing and tone! Very tasteful, I really like your musicality! Over the years I've sold off my four old BF Super Reverbs and BF Pro Reverb, they were my main amps for years. My future is smaller 5 to 20 watt amps and I love the big, inspiring tone of my Crema Wheat. Sounds like you're diggin' yours as well, right on!

    Hi Greg,
I 'm having thoughts of selling my SR now. I'm in total agreement about the smaller wattage amps.
Thanks for listening and thanks for your inspirational playing. Hope to meet you when you come the west coast!

    Hi NFB,
    Thank you!

    kingsxman,
If you're looking for low wattage 6V6 crunchiness, this is the one to go for. Thanks!

Thanks peterdjp, glad you like it!

I've already got a Lil Dawg D-lux which I dig. Mine has a 15" speaker and an upgraded transformer. NOS tubes. But...it doesnt sound quite as nice as these clips or the Greg V clip (which is about the best demo amp clip I've ever seen).

These have got me seriously considering selling some stuff and getting one of these. How much clean headroom is there? Do they come with NOS tubes or new production? I dig the bass response out of the 15. I've got a Weber Alnico classic in there right now. I need an amp though that can handle alot of different situations...
