Tuning machine fit?

I really want to put these vintage gotoh tuning machines in, but I ahve a couple of questions first. Would they fit in a mexican strat? And, how the hell do you string them? Thanks

You have to use adapter bushings because the holes are too big. All you do is cut the string about 3-4 posts past the post you are stringing...shove the tip in the hole at safts end...bend over and wind. Essentially a locking tuner!
