...are constantly faking out our dog sending her running to the door barking away . The ad for Cox cable in Nova is an incessant and regular offender. This was amusing the first couple of times, but I'm long past being amused. **** Cox and the TV stations that run ads with ringing doorbell sounds....

I hate the car horns and sirens on radio ads. Get faked out a couple times a week when driving.

No way I'm playing that with the dog in my lap.

Ok, I checked out the ad above and the current Cox ad driving my dog bonkers is different. A houseful of computer nerds getting delivery of a new wifi device.

I'm also annoyed by ads on the radio that have horns or screeching sounds to get your attention. They are knowingly effing with your senses while your drive a car. not cool.

Our Chihuahua has become pretty savvy about what's a TV noise, or even a "dog teaser" app noise, and someone actually at the door. When she barks, she means it. Our Yorkipoo, who is just getting out of puppyhood, barks at everything.

Too many dogs and cats on tv, drives my dog nuts and by implication me as he barks incessantly at them.

The Esurance ad with the almost subliminal cell phone ringing grates my nerves pretty badly.

another one for the "strange sell" dept.
in that category is every ad that makes you stop, look, listen and check things out around you before you realize it was the tv ad, you grunt your displeasure and make a mental note to never buy the product. why make ads like that? does anyone buy from the Aholes?

Ha! We just adopted a dog a couple of months ago and our he gets up for TV doorbells every time. I doubt our own doorbell has rung as many times as he's been faked out by TV!
